Tertiary Impact crushers are machines for secondary or tertiary crushing of limestone, alluvial or quarry materials. It operates on the basis of the impact effect of mass at high speed. The material, introduced through the feed mouth is hit by the hammers and thrown against a particular impact plating which is placed on adjustable supports. This repeated sequence of impact makes sure that the material will be crushed in such a way that high percentages of fine parts are obtained. The supports are adjustable by using a hydraulic system so that they can be moved closer or further away from the rotor to get the required material. One of the main properties of these machines is that the direction of rotation of the rotor can be reversed in order to equalize the wear of the hammer impact faces, thus allowing their maximum exploitation.
